The Alps 1.44 is a high reliability floppy disk drive (FDD) which employs a direct-drive motor. With a 25.4mm (1 inch) height body, the drive fits into any standard 3.5" (Inch) bay. Its semi-sealed construction gives high performance by protecting against dust and anti-electromagnetic noise.
