With Sony/Philips Digital Interface, a standard audio file transfer format, the transfer of digital audio signals from one device to another without having to be converted first to an analog format. Also, maintaining the viability of a digital signal prevents the quality of the signal from degrading when it is converted to analog. Additionally, the S/PDIF Audio Connector provides two 1/8" audio connectors for Rear L/R and Center/Cub to upgrade your audio to 5.1. By connecting to S/PDIF featured motherboards, you can totally enjoy the outstanding digital audio performance.
