Golden Tech Return/Exchange Policy

The following information is for whoever is in need of returns/exchanges.  Please read this information.
  1. Receipts are needed for ALL transactions. It is the customers responsibility to keep their receipts.
  2. All merchandise purchased and returned is subject to a 20% restock fee. All returns must be processed within 10 days of the original sale. ALL sales are final after 10 days.
  3. If payment was made by check, a check will be issued by Golden Tech, Inc. after 14 days from the date of your return.
  4. If payment was made by credit card, the same credit card used in the purchase will be credited. The card must be present at the time of refund. 
  5. If payment was by cash, you will receive either a cash or check refund from Golden Tech, Inc., as per our discretion.
  6. There is a minimum twenty five dollar (cash only) fee for all returned checks. 
  7. All merchandise is warranted by the respective manufacturer. 
  8. All defective merchandise should be reported within 10 days of it’s malfunction. All defective merchandise will be replaced for the same or similar items. Some restricted items can be replaced with the same within 30 days of purchase at Golden Tech Inc.'s discretion.
  9. All products sold on line require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.  You may obtain an RMA number by contacting Golden Tech Inc.'s customer service.  The return shipping cost for defective merchandise is the responsibility of the customer.  We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry.  However, if you pay to send the item back to Golden Tech Inc., we will replace the item and ship the replacement to you at no charge. 
  10. Products that are not eligible for return are:
    1. Any product without a valid, readable serial number.
    2. Any product without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables and all other items originally included with the product.
    3. Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging.
    4. Any product that exhibits physical damage.
    5. Any product that is not in a resellable condition.
    6. Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate.

ADDENDUM TO THE ABOVE

 
Processors – CPUs may be refunded within three days of the initial purchase if the CPUs are not physically damaged.  Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip.  CPUs that are chipped, burnt, or have bent/broken pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement.   Physical damage includes (but is not limited to) improper handling and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use.

NON REFUNDABLE ITEMS

Computer systems, notebooks, netbooks, printers, all software, bulk cable, consumables (paper, cartridges, diskettes, blank CD’s, etc), tools, shipping services, and all special order items are non-returnable and non-refundable. All sales are final on these items, but they all carry their respective manufacturer's warranty.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Golden Tech, Inc. hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for Golden Tech, Inc., any liability in connection with the sale of the part(s), software, systems and/or service. Buyer shall not be entitled to recovery from Golden Tech, Inc. for any consequential damages to property, from Loss of use, from loss of time, from loss of profit or income, or any other incidental damage.
